Sandra Aversa is Senior Vice-President, Wealth Management, Insurance and I&TS Finance at RBC and is responsible for partnering with the leadership team to drive strategic priorities, deliver business insights, and provide strong financial governance. Sandra leads a global team accountable for the financial advisory, performance management and financial control.
Prior to joining RBC in February 2019, Sandra spent eleven years at BMO in a variety of progressively senior finance leadership roles including accounting policy, financial reporting and financial performance management for both the Wealth Management business and the bank.
Sandra started her career at PwC leading audits in the financial services industry specializing in asset management and banking.
Sandra is an active volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society and sits on both the Provincial Advisory Board in Ontario and the national audit committee. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and holds a Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.
